About this Event
Irish comedian Reece Kidd returns with a brand-new stand-up comedy show — live in Ashton-in-Makerfield at Brian Boru Irish Club.
Reece has:
- Performed in 30+ countries
- Sold out the Edinburgh Fringe (the biggest comedy festival in the world) three years in a row
- Earned over 150 million views for his viral walk-and-talk stories and crowd work
- Grown to over 160K followers across social media
What is Reece's comedy like? Reece's style is Irish fish-out-of-water: big storytelling, sharp characters, and the chaos of being an Irishman abroad. Expect playful dark humour (he's Irish after all), fast improvisation, and crowd interaction that celebrates cultural differences.
Who is this show for? This show is for anyone who loves stand-up comedy, especially fans of:
- Irish & British comedians like Dylan Moran, Tommy Tiernan, Dara Ó Briain
- Story-driven comedy (think Jim Jefferies, Bill Burr, John Mulaney)
- Irish culture (e.g., Derry Girls)
- Expats
- A fun, friendly date night or night out for singles
- A great night out for friends
Can I see Reece's comedy? Reece posts clips on his Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/reecek1dd/
About Reece: Originally from Belfast, Reece now lives in London, performing at top comedy clubs during the week and touring internationally at weekends. Reece was awarded Cahoots Comedian of the Year 2023. Reece will also be bringing a support act.
