🇦🇺 SUPPORTING LEGACY – 96 KM, 24 HOURS 🇦🇺On 10–11 November 2026, members of 6 Platoon, Dubbo – 1st/19th Battalion, The Royal New South Wales Regiment in conjunction with Dubbo RSL Aquatic & Health Club will take on a 96km pack march over 24 hours to raise funds for Legacy branches located in Dubbo & Wellington.
The funds raised will go directly to the Legacy branches, which means it stays local to the community’s of Dubbo & Wellington.
Legacy has been supporting the families of veterans for more than 100 years. Their work provides ongoing support to veterans’ families, including widows, partners, children and dependants, helping them through difficult times and ensuring they are not left to face the challenges of losing a loved one alone.
For us, this march is about more than covering 96km with a pack.
It is about recognising the sacrifices made by Australian veterans and their families, and supporting an organisation that continues to look after those families long after a veteran’s service has ended.
We will step off at 1000hrs on Tuesday, 10 November, and continue through the day and night with the aim of completing the 96km by 1000hrs on Wednesday, 11 November.
From there, we will move to the Dubbo Cenotaph to attend the Remembrance Day service at 1100 hrs.
💙 Every donation, no matter how small, will help Legacy continue its work supporting Australian veteran families.
