Africa 2 the World & BVD Boston present a special night of Amapiano & African Dance Music, featuring the sounds of soulful piano, deep grooves, and unreleased music from the 012 (Pitori, founding city of Amapiano in South Africa)
Pitori—Pretoria—is widely regarded as one of the birthplaces of Amapiano. Rooted in the townships of Pretoria, the sound grew from local DJs, producers, and youth culture, blending deep house, jazz, kwaito, and the now-iconic log drum into a movement that would eventually travel from South Africa to the world
On October 9, Zenoja brings his signature DJ set to Boston for an unforgettable Amapiano mix alongside Big Bear (Maji Mazuri), Deejay AJ (Sanaa Groove) & Fiorah
