? SalsaNova turns ONE in April ??… and we’re warming up the celebrations already! ?
Nearly a whole year of awesome Friday nights, sweaty hugs, spin fails, triumphant twirls… and that final reggaeton beat where we all pretend we know what we’re doing.?
To kick off the anniversary countdown properly, we’re welcoming Don & Rachel to teach our Higher Level class on Friday 6th March.
If you’ve danced in Birmingham for any length of time, you’ll know these two awesome dancers. They’ve been part of the scene for years — running long-standing classes, building solid dancers and consistently showing up for the community. Proper steady presence.
Their style?
✨ Clean.
✨ Smooth.
✨ Musical.
✨ Social-floor ready.
No ego. No theatrics. Just good quality salsa and details that make everything feel better.
This Higher Level session will focus on connection, technique and partnerwork that actually works on a busy Friday night (because that’s what we’re about).
? Three levels of classes as usual from 8.30pm with Don & Rachel and the Salsa Nova team.
? Three levels to keep everyone moving:
? Intermediate/Advanced - with Don & Rachel
? Improver/Intermediate - with Jose Perez
? Beginners - with Natalia
Classes kick off at 8:30PM sharp, then we roll into a full-on SBK social until late with Dj Azucate & DJ Maj!!

At Salsanova, all styles are welcome – Cuban, Crossbody, Bachata, Kizomba – we celebrate Latin music without boundaries. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just starting out, this is YOUR night.
