To Tipsy Reader - April Book Club Gathering
This month, we are reading Orbital by Samantha Harvey, which follows six astronauts from different countries as they spend 24 hours aboard the International Space Station. As they circle the Earth, the novel delves into their personal memories, griefs, ambitions, and the deep bonds they form in isolation. Through their experiences, the story explores themes of human connection, the fluidity of time, and the search for meaning against the vast backdrop of space and the seeming insignificance of individual lives.
👩🏻🚀 We will meet up first at 1:30 P.M. for the book discussion and make our way to the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre at 4:05 P.M. for the ENCOUNTERS IN THE MILKY WAY show.

Who are The Tipsy Heart Book Club?
The Tipsy Heart Book Club was formally established in 2023, is built to reach more people through books as a bridge to a deeper human connection.
It is a space for sharing stories, lived experiences, ideas, and knowledge - where conversations are meant to move beyond reading into something more personal and meaningful.
At its core, it’s about love & connection: exchanging perspectives and creating a space where everyone feels seen through shared experiences and honest dialogue.
