In this class, participants will learn to prepare Samlo Machu Kreung Sach Ko (សម្លរម្ជូរគ្រឿងសាច់គោ), a traditional Cambodian sour soup with beef that highlights the fresh, aromatic flavors of Khmer cuisine. As part of the experience, everyone will also learn how to make kreung (គ្រឿង) from scratch—the essential spice paste that forms the base of this dish and many other Khmer recipes. This hands-on process offers a deeper appreciation of how foundational ingredients like kreung create the balance of sour, herbal, and savory flavors in authentic Cambodian cooking.
