What it is
A fast, laugh-filled White Elephant gift swap to share some New Year joy on our sailing—quick, cute, and smile-inducing. We’ll run two circles: one for adults (with steals) and one for kids (under 12) with no steals.
What to bring
Adults: Bring 1 wrapped gift (max $10 USD or close equivalent).
Kids (under 12): Bring 1 wrapped gift (max $5 USD).
Keep gifts small, packable, and easy to carry.

How it works — Adults Circle (with steals)
Number Draw: Everyone draws a number. That’s your turn order.
Turn Options:
Pick & open a new wrapped gift from the pile, or
Steal any already-opened gift.
Steal Limits (to keep it moving):
A gift can be stolen at most 2 times total. After the 2nd steal, it’s frozen and can’t be taken again.
A gift can only be stolen once per turn (no endless chains).
No immediate steal-back of the gift that was just taken from you—choose a different gift or a new one.
First Player Option: After the last turn, #1 may swap once with any unfrozen gift.
Done! Snap a pic with your final treasure.
How it works — Kids Circle (no steals)
Each child draws a number and picks one gift from the Kids pile to open.
No stealing in the kids round. Quick, happy, and drama-free.
Optional: Kids may trade with each other after the game if both agree (and a parent/guardian says it’s okay).
Friendly tips
Bring something fun, useful, or silly—but compact.
Add a tiny tag or note inside your bag if you want to say who it’s from.
If your plans change or someone drops/joins, comment here so we can adjust the list before sail.
