🎀Why Coppafeel? Mary: My breast cancer was diagnosed at stage 3. If I had the knowledge and confidence to push for further tests, when I first felt my lump and saw a doctor, my cancer could have been diagnosed earlier, resulting in a better prognosis. Often younger women with symptoms of breast cancer are dismissed because of their age. I was living abroad at the time but I have heard similar stories in the UK.
Coppafeel's mission is to stamp out the late diagnosis of breast cancer, particularly in younger people. Early detection is key for treating breast cancer successfully. It is so important for us to educate others, to raise awareness and make it the NORM to talk about our breasts; knowledge is power, and it could save a life!
