In this life drawing sessions, Shibari artist Dan Carabas will create two intimate and slow rope performances with Shibari model Dorcara, offering in total six dynamic and expressive poses in ropes for the audience to capture in their drawings.
Whether you're an experienced artist or a beginner, this evening provides a rare opportunity to study the human form transformed and shaped by Shibari ropes in a unique and powerful way.

Two intimate rope performances with 3 poses held between 5 and 15 minutes. - BEGINNER INTRODUCTION
Join our beginner introduction into drawing or Shibari before the performance. - MATERIALS
Explore and try out the equipment that we provide, or bring your own sketching supplies. - ATMOSPHERE
Not like any other drawing class, this space is holding an intimate atmosphere by soft dimmed lighting & meditative sounds.
Expect a relaxed, respectful, and welcoming environment where you can explore Shibari as an art form and deepen your figure-drawing skills.
You will also have some time for tea/wine and to share your work with each other, if you like to.

About Shibari Studio Berlin & the Instructor:
Shibari Studio Berlin is a dedicated space for Shibari workshops, Tantric-Shibari experiences, and private sessions in Berlin, founded in 2024 by multidisciplinary artist Dan Carabas.
The studio’s work focuses on intentional rope practice, embodied connection, and conscious intimacy, using Shibari and Kinbaku as tools for presence, communication, and trust. Experiences are designed for couples, individuals, and artists seeking a grounded, refined approach to rope — beyond technique or performance.
Dan Carabas has worked with Shibari and rope-based practices for over a decade alongside his internationally exhibited art project Metamorphic Sculptures. His teaching approach, often described as “the art of Shibari with intention,” emphasizes intimacy, awareness, and relational depth through rope.
