From the same minds that brought you the Goth Nights at Gaukurinn comes this warmup event featuring live DJs and a swap market! This heavier edition of Goth Night, now hosted at Kabarett, will run on both floors of the venue: live DJs on the main floor with a dance floor, and the basement will host an alternative market.
The event will run from 7 PM until Midnight. The DJs will begin at 8 PM, with DJ Korviid warming up and DJ DAGGER OF DETH (of Misþyrming, Naðra, & more) beginning at 9 PM.
In the downstairs room, the Goth market and swap will run from 7 PM until Midnight. Participants in the swap / market need not contact in advance--just show up on the day with your items and there will be a space ready for you. You are urged to bring your own cash for any paid transactions as Kabarett is unable to supply this.
The kitchen will be open until 9 PM with a menu featuring Icelandic-style tacos, quesadillas, and nachos, with vegan options available also. The bar serves 20 different beers and meads on tap, with non-alcoholic options available like mocktails, tea and coffee.
The event is pay what you can / free for all. The venue is fully wheelchair-accessible, and a gender-neutral bathroom is also available.
