About this Event
Zentangles are an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing simple, structured shapes and patterns, also known as tangles. As you draw them, you will discover the calming effect they have on you, and how they can aid in inspiration and concentration. Artist Catherine Reynolds will lead you through the principles of Zentangles, and guide your drawing from the surrounding gardens at Bedrock. Bring your sketchbooks, ink pens, or colored/graphite pencils; all tangle supplies are included in the ticket fee
About the Teacher
Catherine is an enthusiastic “tangler” and an amateur gardener. She has been a registered nurse for more than 40 years but has spent her entire life exploring creative possibilities. She became a certified Zentangle teacher more than ten years ago and has been happily exploring its potential ever since. Zentangle is the creation of Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts, and is celebrating over 20 years of being practiced. It is an art form that is accessible to everyone and enjoyed worldwide.
Tickets
Tickets are $30 for members (with member discount code) and $40 for non-members. and include an art kit with pattern instructions, sample, a Micron 01 pen, a pencil, a tortillon, and paper. Class is limited to 12 people. Great for adults and teens.
Cancellations: If you are unable to attend, please let us know 48 hours in advance of the class start time in order to receive a refund. Note that Eventbrite fees are non-refundable.
Weather Related Cancellations: We will assess the weather the morning of the workshop and send a notification to all attendees if extreme or severe weather is forecast.
