ZEN FOLK is a Black History Month yoga and sound experience presented as part of Shanti Soul Sessions, a community-centered wellness series by ShantiSoulCo. Hosted within Buckhead Art and Company (Best of Georgia art gallery), this special session blends yoga with live DJ sound to create an affirming environment where movement, mindfulness, and music come together in celebration!
Set within the gallery, ZEN FOLK honors Black history month and community’s lived experiences through embodiment, creativity, and artistic expression. The practice will be guided by Ashanti Brown, a yoga instructor, mental wellness practitioner, and founder of ShantiSoulCo and soundscaped live by DJ Alexx Noire. The curated setlist and yoga practice are intentionally designed to reflect and celebrate the month, resilience, joy, and vitality of Black life.
This experience invites participants to move in ways that feel supportive, intuitive, and grounding. All levels are welcome. No yoga experience is required.
