About this Event
The ZAP 20th Anniversary will be held on Friday, April 24, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Sunset Park, and will feature live painting by three local artists, art vendors, and live entertainment. Attendees will learn the history of ZAP through the pop-up ZAP museum, meet some of the past ZAP artists, and experience a performance from the Clark County Poet Laureate. Attendees can also participate in the ZAP raffle to win Clark County Public Arts memorabilia, sign up for a short bird walk with the Red Rock Audubon Society, and create mini-ZAP boxes through the workshop led by a past ZAP artist.
The Clark County Public Arts Office will also unveil the new ZAP logo, created by one of the original ZAP artists, Shan Michael Evans. Evans created the original ZAP logo back in 2005 and recently revamped it for ZAP's 20th anniversary.
During the event, Commissioner Gibson will highlight the 12 ZAP 20 artists who recently designed and painted 13 boxes around Sunset Park this past winter.
