After a triumphant premiere and successful season at Fringe World 2024, Sylvia Cornes and her band return to the Ellington Jazz Club this summer to present Yé-Yé, Yeah! A Tribute to 60s French Pop.

The Yé-Yé movement emerged in France during the 1960s, capturing the spirit of youth culture with its irresistible mix of catchy melodies, playful lyrics, and stylish sophistication. Drawing inspiration from British and American rock ‘n’ roll, the genre became a cultural phenomenon that defined a generation.
Yé-Yé, Yeah! celebrates this iconic era with the music of legendary French artists such as Serge Gainsbourg, France Gall, Françoise Hardy, Jacques Dutronc, and many more.
