YOUTHBUILD WOMEN IN DIY DAY - LEWISHAM

We are excited to share a brilliant event we’re running in collaboration with our valued partners at Phoenix Community Housing and we’d love for you to be a part of it.

At YouthBuild Ventures UK, we partner with opportunity youth to build the skillsets and mindsets that lead to lifelong learning, careers, and leadership, through Construction and Green Skills Training. As part of our commitment to the communities we work with, we want to expand this to the women of Lewisham!!

This event is all about empowerment, skill building and giving women the confidence to pursue careers in construction and maintenance. It promises to be a hands-on, community focused event giving local women the tools, confidence, and knowledge to manage basic home repairs and explore new career pathways, ones they may never have considered before.

It will be an immersive learning experience. Think tools in hand, sleeves rolled up- real life, practical stuff that people can take home and use the very same day.

This event is also about something deeper: giving women control over their own space and their futures, especially those who’ve never felt like they’ve had it before. In true YB fashion, we want attendees to leave saying “We’ve Got This”.
