The 2022 Chicago Youth in Music Festival and National Pathways Summit come to a close with an open rehearsal led by CSO Music Director Riccardo Muti. Comprised of extraordinary young musicians from across the country sitting side-by-side with musicians from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Civic Orchestra and Chicago Sinfonietta, the Festival Orchestra celebrates youth whose life passion is music. This event is presented in partnership with the Chicago Musical Pathways Initiative and the National Instrumentalist Mentoring and Advancement Network.Free and open to the public with reservations required.
