About this Event
Join Ofosu Jones-Quartey for a Daylong practice and discussion, hosted by Delaware Valley Insight.
The need for self-compassion is increasingly evident in our everyday lives. This retreat will offer practical self-compassion and mindfulness practices that can be applied in daily life. There will be guided and silent meditation periods (in stillness and movement). There will also be a restorative sound bath, a talk, question and answer and a closing music offering. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of why self-compassion is important, as well as practical skills that they can apply easily.
This is a hybrid event, with concurrent in-person and online sessions; the in-person portion will be at the Summit Presbyterian Church, 6757 Greene Street in Philadelphia. The online portion will be via Zoom. Ofosu will be at the Summit Presbyterian Church.
This program is appropriate for both new and experienced meditators. Everyone is welcome.
Dana (Generosity) will be well received and shared with Ofosu to support him in offering this program.
