About this Event

A Space to Be Heard

Many women are carrying a lot right now. Between the pressures of daily life, work, family responsibilities and personal challenges, it can sometimes feel like there is very little space to simply talk about what is going on.

Access to therapy can also be difficult. NHS waiting lists are long and private sessions are not always affordable. Yet having somewhere to share, to be listened to, and to feel less alone can make a real difference.

This group is intended to offer that space.

I am not a trained counsellor, and this is not a counselling session. Instead, the intention is to create a warm and respectful environment where women can come together, share what is present for them, and feel supported by others who are also navigating life’s ups and downs.

Loneliness has become increasingly common, and many people find themselves craving real conversation and connection. Sometimes what we need most is simply to be heard without judgement.

Participants are welcome to share whatever feels alive for them in the moment. The group can respond with encouragement, reflections, or gentle ideas. We ask that people avoid giving technical advice or telling others what they should do. Each person’s situation is unique, and the aim is to listen and support rather than fix.

We will begin the session with a short guided meditation to help everyone settle, ground, and arrive in the space. Depending on numbers, we may stay as one group or break into smaller groups so everyone has an opportunity to speak.

You are only ever invited to share what feels comfortable. Confidentiality is very important, and we ask that anything shared within the group remains within the group.

At the end of the session, we will close with another short guided meditation so everyone leaves feeling calm and supported.
