Your Right to Protection: Identifying, Understanding and Maximising the Intellectual Property (IP) in your Designs
With the ever-growing number of copycats and online marketplaces, as well as exponential rise in generative AI, understanding the IP rights in your designs and how to protect them is key to ensure longevity and safeguarding for your brand and creations.
Join Anti Copying In Design (ACID) CEO Laura Newbold Breen, Head of Membership Marion Horwood and ACID Legal Affiliates and IP Experts Gavin Llewellyn, Partner at Stone King LLP and Robert Lands, Partner, Head of IP & Commercial at Howard Kennedy LLP, for a hands-on workshop and discussion around products and designs in which we will explain the essential IP rights, how to protect them and what to do if you are copied. You are also extremely welcome to bring any designs or products with you that you are comfortable sharing to ensure this interactive and educational session answers the questions that matter most to you.
Please note: during this session we will be discussing general principles but unable to give legal advice on specific situations.
