Through the timeless works of Mozart, Debussy, Tchaikovsky, and more, the Baldaquin Ensemble brings emotions to life from tender whispers to bursts of delight.
In this special Young Maestro – Sunday Morning Family Series performance, you’ll discover how composers use tempo, key, and dynamics to shape feeling. Is legato soft and flowing, like a long hug or saying “I love you” slowly, as in Debussy’s Clair de Lune? Is staccato playful and crisp, like an inside joke or a cheerful shout, as in Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik? Through crescendos, rubato, and even silence, music begins to breathe, connect, and tell stories no words needed.
Performed by the award-winning Baldaquin Ensemble, Petr Gladysh, Anna Larionova-Gladysh, Sergei Belozertsev, and Daria Kuchenova, this concert offers a magical introduction to classical music for all ages.
Adding a visual layer to the experience, abstract artworks by UAE-based artist Israa Talal, inspired by the concert’s emotional themes, will be exhibited and available to purchase at Dubai Opera.
