On Sunday, June 7, join Cincinnati Jewish young adults at the historic Walnut Street Cemetery for an afternoon of service, history, and community. We'll be working alongside the Jewish Cemeteries of Greater Cincinnati (JCGC) to place markers on the graves of Holocaust survivors. It's a quiet, meaningful act. A way of saying: we remember. You are not forgotten.
The afternoon will include a welcome and time to socialize, a guided historical tour of the cemetery (which holds the graves of some of Cincinnati's most notable figures and unique markers), the marker placements, and possibly some flower planting.
Come for the mitzvah. Leave knowing you helped honor lives that mattered.
Day-of details will follow as the date gets closer.
