About this Event
About the Event
The collective is in a long season of shift. This can feel stressful or disregulatng and crete feeling of confusion or doubt. This 90-minute immersion offers an extended journey into deep relaxation, combining the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra—a guided meditation known as "yogic sleep"—with the immersive vibrations of a Sound Bath.
With a full hour and a half, we have the luxury of time to slowly settle the body, clear the mind, and sink into a state of consciousness that lies between waking and sleeping.
The resonant frequencies of a sound bath act as an anchor for the mind, helping you to stay in the liminal space between being awake and being asleep, the resonance keeps you present. These vibrations help to "entrain" the brain, quieting the internal chatter and releasing physical tension held deep within the tissues. It is a passive yet profound way to dissolve anxiety and restore your internal rhythm.
What to Bring
Since we will be lying still for an extended period, comfort is your top priority. Please arrive a few minutes early to setup and please wear warm socks, and loose comfortable layers as temperatures tend to change. Please bring:
- A yoga mat or padded sleeping pad.
- Two blankets (one to lie on and one to cover you, as body temperature drops significantly).
- A pillow or bolster for neck or knee support.
- An eye mask or scarf to deepen the sensory withdrawal.
- Water for grounded hydration after the session.
- Journal + something to write with to reflect if you choose to do so.
Note on Space: To honor the depth of this practice, this is a strictly sober event. We invite you to arrive with a clear mind to fully experience the natural "high" of deep meditative rest.
Doors close exactly at the start time to preserve the quiet space; no late entries permitted.
