About this Event
Every fourth Friday, we will gather as a community of courageous folx seeking evolution and liberation by reading, discussing, and embodying books that challenge dominant narratives and help us disrupt, decolonize, and awaken.
September Book: Yoke: My Yoga of Self-Acceptance by Jessamyn Stanley
A series of essays on the messiness, beauty, and contradictions of navigating identity, spirituality, and self-love. This book is only 150 pages, a quick read to kick off this series.
We will switch up facilitators along with the book each month with input from the community.
September facilator: Rhye Mirch (they/she, 500 CYT)
Rhye Mirch is a book lover interested in the intersections of communal knowledge and embodied personal practices. They were drawn to this month’s book selection for Jessamyn’s candid and vulnerable exploration of her personal practice. They are interested in facilitating a fluid conversation that weaves our communal personal practices together in effort to liberate all beings.
