About this Event
What are Longevity Days by Longèra Journeys?
Longevity Days by Longèra Journeys take place around the world, carrying the essence of the world’s longest-living communities far beyond their villages.
Hosted in carefully selected cities and venues, these experiences translate centenarian wisdom into modern life through workshops led by experts, mindful movement, conscious nutrition, and meaningful human connection.
Each Longevity Day is designed as a cultural and lifestyle immersion, where guests learn how to slow down, reconnect with their body, and adopt longevity-inspired habits — no matter where they live.
HALF-DAY RETREAT: YOGA, BLUE ZONE COOKING CLASS & SHARED TABLE
Presented by the founder of Longèra Journeys, Annacarla — born and raised in the Sardinian Blue Zone — together with Magda, a yoga teacher specialising in stress regulation and nervous system balance. This half-day experience blends Blue Zone heritage with contemporary longevity practices.
We begin with an introduction to the longevity principles of the Blue Zones, inspired by the research of Dan Buettner in collaboration with National Geographic, exploring the lifestyle habits behind long, healthy lives — along with simple practices for nervous system regulation and stress management.
The journey continues with a one-hour yoga session led by Magda, whose gentle yet powerful approach combines mindful movement and breathwork to cultivate clarity, grounding, and deep relaxation.
The experience then unfolds with a mindful walk to a hands-on Blue Zone cooking workshop curated by Isola Sardinian Restaurant. We begin with a tasting of goat cheese — a traditional longevity ingredient — before preparing pane frattau, a classic Sardinian dish of crisp flatbread, tomato sauce, pecorino, and a poached egg.
Guests cook together, learn ancestral techniques, and rediscover the simplicity of Blue Zone cuisine.
