A weekly yoga practice in nature at gorgeous spot in South Austin with acoustic music from Will Taylor and a sequence led by Kayla Hoffman
About this Event

Immerse yourself in a union of music and yoga, where the beauty of nature becomes the backdrop for a journey of self-discovery and inner peace.

We'll begin the journey with a contemplative silent walk through nature as we grow more in tune with the natural rhythm of the breath.

We will  wander down a quiet path, guided by the hushed whispers of the wind, we'll find ourselves drawn to a sacred clearing as the day draws to a close. Here, amidst the openness of the outdoors, we'll embark on a transformative 45-minute yoga practice, guided by our yoga instructor, Kayla Hoffman, and enhanced by the soul-stirring melodies of award-winning Austin musician, Will Taylor.

Feel the earth beneath your feet as you flow through each posture, syncing your movements with the natural rhythms of the world around you. Let the soothing sounds of Will's acoustic music envelop you, elevating your practice to new heights of mindfulness and inner harmony.

As the sun dips below the horizon, casting a warm glow upon the landscape, allow yourself to be transported by the symphony of nature unfolding around you. Experience the ancient practice of yoga, as Will's music resonates deep within your soul.

Info on your practitioners:

Will Taylor

I've been a professional violinist and Austin music icon for over 20 years, jamming with folks such as Willie Nelson, Pearl Jam, Gary Clark Jr., Shawn Colvin, Shiny Ribs, Guy Forsyth, the Turtle Island String Quartet at Town Hall in New York City and so many more. I'm a lover of the outdoors and the magic of bringing people into nature for life-changing moments of connection and musical bliss. I have been a concert presenter for over 20 years and in 2006 produced a concert of the Beatles White Album that was broadcast on radio and drew over 1600 folks for two shows. You can learn more about me at StringsAttached.org, StringsintheWoods.com and about my love of community outreach through StringsAttachedCares.org

Testimonials

Sarah, April 2019

“This was a unique experience, and I enjoyed combining music with nature. The fresh air along with soothing music, made me feel at ease and one with our group. Highly recommend, if you love the outdoors and love listening to live music.”

***Debbie, April 2019

“Unique experience connecting both to nature and to music. A quieter, reflective sidelight on the frenetic Austin tourist experience. Also, a chance to network with some area musicians.”
