5, 6, 7, 8! Join us for Y2K Dance Movies Trivia at Snakes & Lattes College to support a local Toronto-based dance non-profit organization, Vazari Arts Company.
Featuring questions about iconic dance movies such as Center Stage, Honey, Step Up, Save the Last Dance, You Got Served, and Stomp the Yard. Prizes will include 2 tickets to Vazari's next show, merch, and still images from their most recent Dora Award-winning production, everything i wanted to tell you (but couldn't, so here it is now).
Friday night plans of fun with an added bonus of supporting local artists? How could you not come!?
Timeline:
- Trivia starts at 7:00PM & ends around 9:00PM
How You Will Support and Donation Impact:
- 50% of all ticket sales will go towards Vazari Arts Company
- $6 beers, courtesy of Craft Dynamics, with all proceeds towards Vazari
- All funds raised will go directly towards supporting future 2026-2027 creations, rehearsal space rentals, travel expenses, accessibility support, and admin expenses
About Vazari:
We are a dance company based in Tkaronto / Toronto creating work for the stage, screen and street led by Artistic Director, Jessie Garon and General Manager, Neesha De Souza Miljanovic. We work with incredible humans from different fields on a project to project basis. Our work aims to ignite curiosity and act as an invitation for spectators and performers to envision a new world together. - Tickets are priced and sold by table + Eventbrite fees and tax
- Each team only needs to purchase one table that fits their team size (i.e If buy a 4 Person Table, that team may only have 4 or fewer members)
