X Love Scenes (2007, 58 minutes, in German with English subtitles)
The fifth and final installment of “X Characters”, a multi-media series in which Constanze Ruhm liberates female characters from the narrative as set by male auteurs, X Love Scenes reimagines Giuliana (from Michelangelo Antonioni’s The Red Desert) as an actress trying to play out certain romantic scenarios at a studio film shoot where her male co-star is absent. Instead, she is left to do her lines with a “script girl” based on Nana from Jean-Luc Godard’s Vivre Sa Vie.
Constanze Ruhm will meet the audience after the screening. QA will be conducted in English.

作為多媒體系列作品《X Characters》的第五部兼最終章，Constanze Ruhm在此系列中致力將女性角色從男性導演設定的敘事框架中解放出來。本作重新想像了米開朗基羅·安東尼奧尼（Michelangelo Antonioni）電影《紅色沙漠》（The Red Desert）中的女主角 Giuliana，設定她為一名正在片場排演浪漫場景的女演員，卻因男拍檔缺席，只能與一名以尚盧·高達（Jean-Luc Godard）電影《隨心所欲》（Vivre Sa Vie）中的 Nana 為原型的「場記」對戲。
