A writing workshop using the oyster as a jumping off point
About this Event

This workshop for anyone interested in exploring different creative approaches to writing. How can we investigate the objects of our attention from different perspectives?

Using the fluid and multi-faceted form of the oyster, we'll play with text and language. We'll think through the oyster in different guises – as an object, as a subject within art, and as a way to work in collaboration.

We’ll use the oyster as a jumping-off point to think about perspective, editing and dialogue.

Location

You can find us at London Museum Studios, Studio Smithfield, 1 East Poultry Avenue, EC1A 9PT. We're just a few minutes away from Farringdon station.

What to expect

We'll provide writing materials and we welcome participants of all levels of experience and background.
