About this Event
Aimed at those who have limited previous experience of bid writing and need to gain skills and knowledge of the bidding process, Gary Parker of CNT Associates will teach you how to make your applications more successful and give tips to those who have written unsuccessful application or who find writing funding applications challenging.
The workshop will cover:

- Understanding the ‘language’ of bidding
- The do’s and don’ts for applicants!
- Why do bids fail
- Key bid features – including; social value, outputs, activities, results
- Common errors
- Bid analysis
- Bid writing

- Focus on key responses required by funders
- Translate the language of funding into accessible bid responses
- Analyse why your bid fails
- Recognise the difference between active and passive responses
- Recognise the difference between strong and less effective applications
- Systems Design and responses to scoring regimes
