Join Up Sewage Creek, Shrewsbury XR and the Shrewsbury Green Party in a procession to celebrate the regenerative and healing powers of our waterways and to express our grief, sadness and anger at their current state. And to emphasise the necessity of taking water back into public ownership.Sunday March 22nd, gathering at Abbey Gardens from 11am then leaving there at 12 noon, processing through town, over
Frankwell footbridge to Poplar Island where we hope to plant a native black poplar to hopefully grow into a big beautiful tree by the waterside in Shrewsbury - a symbol of our love for the River Severn.
Dress code: blues and greens, bring a flag, banner, placard or river creature.
