    • About Shane Manier: Shane Manier is a Creative Coach, Visual Artist, Live Event Painter, Tedx and Keynote Speaker, Trauma-Informed Care Instructor, Poetry Mentor, and National Spoken Word Poet based in the Charlotte Metro Region of NC. She is the founder of The National Poetry Month Summit and Guerilla Poets, a nonprofit art collective with branches in the US and UK. Shane has been featured at numerous shows across the US, published three books and three spoken word albums, and her poetry is known for its passionate and powerful vulnerability. She is currently a Spoken Word and Arts Teaching Instructor for several institutions and has been recognized as a National Poet with various accolades.
    • About LeJuane (El’Ja) Bowens: LeJuane (El’Ja) Bowens is an award-winning spoken word poet, host, speaker, workshop facilitator, and author. Born in Detroit, MI, and raised in Lima, OH, El’Ja joined the United States Army in 2000. During his service, he began to commit his thoughts to paper, eventually realizing his calling in poetry. El’Ja has won numerous poetry slam championships, had his work featured in the Obama Art Museum in Raleigh, NC, and founded the Southeastern Regional NC Poetry Festival. He is a published author of multiple poetry books and a renowned performer at festivals and events across the US.
