Workshop Launch: Roots of Samba - Baianas from Brazil
Join us on Saturday 29th June at 13:30 for an introduction to the Baianas from Brazil, led by Gladys Cavalcante. Baianas are the godmothers and guardians of samba and are known for their signature twirling and long, flowy skirts. This open-level class will teach you the history and traditional dance styles of the Baianas - you will even have the opportunity to dance in a traditional Baiana skirt.
