Playback Theatre is a unique form of improv where real stories become live performance. It’s all about deep listening, emotional truth, and creating powerful moments on stage.
In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll learn the core elements of Playback and get plenty of reps in a supportive, high-energy environment.
You’ll Practice:
- Listening for meaning & emotion
- Responding with honesty instead of “chasing ideas”
- Building scenes through movement, sound & simplicity
- Performing short Playback roles & forms
- Bringing someone’s real story to life with your ensemble
