This workshop brings together emerging scholars based in Ireland to explore critical and contemporary issues in international law.
About this Event

New Voices in International Law is a one-day workshop bringing together PhD candidates and early-career researchers from across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland working within the broad field of international law.

The workshop provides a platform for emerging scholars to present innovative research and engage in critical discussion on some of the most pressing issues in contemporary international law. Panels will explore themes including international law in Europe, questions of apartheid and human rights, challenges in international humanitarian and criminal law, and political economy approaches to global legal governance.

Through a combination of panel presentations, expert commentary, and a keynote address, the event aims to foster dialogue, collaboration, and new perspectives within the international law community.

The workshop will conclude with closing remarks following a full day of discussion and networking opportunities.
