About this Event
Create Your Own History: A 4-Hour Workshop for Clarity & Decision-Making
What are your decisions shaping - in your work and in how you lead your life?
📍 Hilton Dublin Kilmainham - The Gaol Room
A small, in-person workshop for people actively shaping their work and making decisions that matter, who want time to think clearly about what they’re doing and the direction they’re moving in.
It’s a chance to step back from the day-to-day and properly work through something you’ve been thinking about - a decision, a challenge or a direction.
Over four hours, the session combines structured reflection and facilitated conversation, supporting clearer thinking and more confident decision-making. That process is captured in a Personal Blueprint you take away and use to guide your work, decisions and communication going forward.
Who This Is For
This workshop is for people actively shaping their work and making decisions that matter.
It’s particularly relevant if you’re in the middle of something - a decision or a transition that isn’t fully clear yet -and want the space to think it through properly.
This could involve:
- Developing or refining a business
- Navigating change, growth, or a shift in direction
- Working through a complex decision or competing priorities
- Rethinking how you approach your work or what comes next
What You Will Gain
You leave having worked something through.
You also take away your own Personal Blueprint, something you can come back to when you need to make decisions, refocus or sense-check your direction.
You will:
- Get a clearer sense of what you’re doing and why
- Clarify the values that help you make decisions that feel right and consistent
- Better understand where you work best - and where you don’t
- Set boundaries that make your work more sustainable
- Communicate in a way that feels more natural to you and works well with others
- Move one decision forward, with a clear next step
Inside the Session
The session is structured to help you think clearly and make progress on what you need to work through.
Through guided reflection and conversation, you will:
- Step back from your role and look at your work more objectively
- Work out what actually matters in how you make decisions
- Identify where you’re most effective - and where you’re not
- See how your approach shapes how you communicate and work with others
There is time to think on your own, and the option to talk things through with others - as much or as little as you want.
The group is small enough for proper discussion, without things feeling rushed or surface-level.
Overlooking Kilmainham Gaol, the setting brings a sense of perspective - a reminder that history is shaped over time through decisions, direction, and what people choose to do with their time- including your own.
