About this Event
Working with victim survivors of family violence requires respectful, sensitive, and safe engagement. This workshop has a central focus on working with women acknowledging the impact of trauma, respecting the autonomy and agency of victim survivors, and the prioritisation of safety and wellbeing. The Social Entrapment Model developed by social worker and family violence subject matter specialist Tori Cooke will increase awareness of the legal, cultural, and social barriers that affect and impact on victim survivors' access to support and justice.
This online event will provide valuable insights and tools for professionals in various fields and roles. Do not miss this opportunity to enhance your skills and make a positive impact in your direct work with women and non binary clients experiencing coercive control.
