Woodland Cacao - Flames of Shiva -for karmic clearing & protection

Join us for the first of our Cacao circles of this new year 2026. We begin witrh a very auspicious Shivarathri themed Ceremony! We gather on Friday the 13th February, for this special Pagan event.

• *We are using Organic, Vegan, Ceremonial grade Cacao, grown by the Ashaninka Tribe in Peru*

This Cacao circle will have all our usual ceremonial aspects - smudging & purifying our selves and altar area, then each person adding a spoon of ritual grade Cacao to vegan-friendly milk - speaking positive intentions for eco-magic. While cacao is heating up, we drum, dance, chant, and movement around the cooker/ cacao, as we raise energy. Then Cacao shared out and drunk by each person.

It is an old tribal practice that works gently in heartcentre and energy openings in people. It takes time to work. It's effects are subtle, and can include a good feeling of wellness, connection, love, gratitude, mindfullness, positivity. So starting with groundedness, stillness, and balance is importrant in order to feel its effects.

Flame ritual & Mantra Meditation - we commence with personal chakra opening with their relevant mantras. A small ceremonial fire is created in a container representing the Infite Flame of Lord Shiva. While listeining to 108 mantra chants music, we offer flowers & herbs to the flame of Shiva, while silently meditating.. (or inwadly chanting the same mantra). . .

Mantras to be used / listened

• Shiva Mantra - "Om Nama Shivaya "
• Chakra mantras - Lam (root), Vam (sacral) Ram (Solar), Yam (heart), Ham (throat), Om (throat), Aum (crown- or silent Om)

Candle magic- while people are seated and allowing the Cacaco to work, the myth of Shivarathri will be told. Following this, each person lights their own candle (provided) from the central Flame. These candles are for people to take home, to light when they are in need of this magic.

No experience necessary. You will be fully guided in this adapted Hindu-pagan ceremony, facilitated by Mani.

.How you can prepare for this -

• Have a bath ,shower or wash before attending.
• Have only vegetarian food on this day.. before ritual and afterwards.
• No alcohol or drugs.

What you can bring

• For ritual: Vegetarian food / snacks welcome (no meat or alcohol). Flowers & lanterns & incense. prayer beads or Rudraksha beads (has 108 beads).
• Practical : Wrap up really warm. Cushion/ yoga mat to sit on. blanket, throw to cover your self..(if it becomes cold).
• Optional- Drums, rattles, percursion musical instruments; Note books; Lanterns / candles; your own crystals & talismans to keep with you for journey; Your own Cup to drink Cacao from. (we provide reusuable cups).

Queen's Wood (nearest Tube: High Gate). This ceremony is held in a public woods, in the evening, in natural weather conditions , So please do come fully prepared as follows!-

Mani (Facilittor) will meet & collect you, and lead all attendees into the woods, to a chosen ritual space, where the Cacao ceremony will commence.

About the Organiser :

Mani, with Hindu roots, is an author, teacher, initiated Witch & High Priest, with 30yrs of Wicca & magical experiences. Since 2004, he has been working more and more in Woods, with rituals, covens and workshop. Mani has a Physics B.Sc degree, training in Transpersonal Psychology & counselling, and blends some Hindu & Shamanic practices into pagan rituals.

Info: Mani or a ritual team member will meet you - by entrance to woods (On Queens Wood Road) and walk you in as a group to ritual spot. There, an Altar will be setup with banners, candles, incense, etc by a tree trunk, and decorated with any god godess figurines. Team members also heat up vegan-friendly milk in pot and mix cacao and prepare the drink.

Info: Sage or incense smudging of all attendees; then visialise magic circle/ sacred space, invoke elemental guardians & Totem spirit animals (or archangels) at 4 quarters; For ENERGY, We use drums and chants while moving, dancing around the cacao pot to charge it with positive vibes

Info: Each person holds their cacao drink cup, makes silent intentions (magical ) and sips their Cacao. This is done calmly and in silence.

Info: Attendees stand, as facilitator comes with Heart frequency singing bowl and ring near your heart area for heart opening. Story of Ix acaco or other myths are read out, as each person slowly relaxes. This is followd by some relevant guided pathworking for your inner journeys

Info: We sit together, close personal energy centres; make notes; share any experiences ; There will be some picnic food shared for personal grounding; then group tidy up of ritual space to return it to natural conditions, and walk back to main road..
