Event Details:

Midlife isn’t about slowing down — it’s about resetting, rebuilding, and stepping into your strongest self. Whether you’re navigating perimenopause, menopause, or thriving beyond, this evening is designed to help you understand the changes in your body and equip you with practical, science-backed strategies to feel empowered, energized, and in control.

Dr. Sameena Rahman will kick off the evening with a straight-talking, science-backed dive into what really happens during perimenopause and menopause. No fluff, no jargon—just clarity. She’ll break down the shifts your body is going through and show you how to navigate them with confidence and ease. Think of it as your hormone head start: when you understand what’s happening inside, you can make smarter choices, feel stronger in your body, and approach this chapter with power and grace.

Dr. Jodi Kirsch, will share exactly what every woman over 40 should know about how menopause and aging impact spinal health. She’ll explain why decreases in bone density and postural shifts can affect your back and neck — and why these issues become more common in midlife. More importantly, she’ll equip you with practical, research-based strategies to protect your spine, maintain mobility, and reduce discomfort. You’ll leave with a clear plan for supporting one of the most important structures in your body so you can keep moving with strength and confidence.

Katalin Rodriguez Ogren will break down exactly why functional and progressive strength training is one of the most powerful tools you have for aging actively. This isn’t just about building muscle — it’s about creating a metabolic advantage that helps you stay lean, energized, and strong. Progressive training protects your bones, supports healthy joints, and keeps your body capable for the demands of everyday life. If your goal is to remain active, resilient, and vibrant in the years ahead, this kind of training isn’t a “nice to have” — it’s essential.
