Join us for a panel discussion and networking with women in law from international backgrounds across private practice and in-house roles.
About this Event

Join us for a panel discussion and networking event in celebration of International Women's Day. This event will follow the format of a panel discussion and Q&A followed by a networking session.

This event is aimed at showcasing women from international backgrounds and providing attendees with insight into how they work and thrive within the legal sector within the UK. The event will provide attendees with an insight into the journey and challenges that women, particularly women from international backgrounds face in the UK.

In particular this will be helpful for students and aspiring lawyers looking to gain insight into how to get into roles within the UK that permit sponsorship.

We are incredibly pleased to present the following panelists:

Eloïne Guilian - Trainee Solicitor at MasterCard (FlexLegal)

Eloïne is a French national and has previously completed her LLB at Queen Mary University of London where she also did a year internship working in-house at Chanel. She is currently a trainee at MasterCard through FlexLegal.

Ariane Fuller- Foreign Lawyer at Signature Litigation

Born and raised in Brazil, Ariane currently works at Signature Litigation within the international arbitration department and completed her undergraduate at the Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie before undertaking an LLM at Queen Mary University of London. She has previously worked at Machado Meyer and is a qualified Brazilian Lawyer.

Claire Hui Bon Hoa - Trainee Solicitor at Veale Wasbrough Vizards LLP

Having compelted her LLB from UCL in 2021 and hailing from Hong Kong, Claire currently sits in her final seat in commercial litigation at Veale Wasbrough Vizards LLP.

Faith B. - Trainee Solicitor at Irwin Mitchell

Hailing from Zimbabwe and having completed her LLB at the University of Exeter, Faith is currently sitting in her third seat in intellectual property at Irwin Mitchell.

Nida Ahmad Naqvi - Trainee Solicitor (Corporate) at Clarke Willmott

As a Botswana native, Nida has previosuly been a paralegal at her firm Clarke Willmott before transitioning to her current role as a trainee solicitor.
