Building on the success of our Surf Sistas women's surf lessons our Women’s Wellness retreats focus on enhancing physical fitness mental health and overall well-being through surfing yoga and holistic activities.

Connect with fellow ocean-loving women and immerse yourself in the stunning coastal landscapes of Te Arai. Whether you're a novice or a seasoned surfer Aotearoa Surf School provides a supportive environment for women to learn evolve and discover the transformative magic of surfing.

SURF COACHING:

Continuing the success of our Surf Sistas Progressive Surf Clinics our Women’s Wellness Retreat offers a dynamic and comprehensive weekend dedicated to empowering women of all ages and skill levels to master the art of surfing and enhance their confidence in the water.

Capture your surfing journey with our professional photography sessions allowing for insightful reviews and personalized tips to facilitate your progression!

For beginners:

• Develop beach awareness and safety skills.
• Learn to interpret wind and wave patterns.
• Master board handling and ocean entry techniques.
• Discover the fundamentals of wave catching.
• Refine your paddling technique and perfect the pop-up.
• Focus on surfing posture and positioning for optimal performance.

For intermediates:

• Unlock the secrets of accelerating and maneuvering your board.
• Gain confidence in navigating to deeper waters.
• Enhance your wave positioning and selection skills.
• Perfect the timing of take-offs and riding down the line.

YOGA:

Immerse yourself in our Slow Hatha Flow Yoga sessions blending traditional yoga postures with dynamic movements and functional flows. Designed to enhance agility strength and balance these classes are tailored to complement your surfing journey.

Connect with your breath and body as you cultivate a sense of tranquility and centeredness amidst the soothing rhythm of the waves. Our classes are thoughtfully layered to accommodate practitioners of all levels ensuring a rewarding experience for everyone.

Discover the serenity of Aotearoa Surf Eco Pods as soon as you arrive. Take in breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean and fresh air relaxation begins instantly. 

Located just an hour from Auckland our eco pods offer convenient access to some of the North Island's most spectacular surf breaks and beaches. Explore renowned destinations like Te Arai Forestry Mangawhai Omaha Waipu Langs and beyond all within close proximity.

We have a total of 3 Eco Pods and 3 Glamping Teepees Accommodation has been designed to allow private for 1 woman or shared for 2 3 or 4 women.
