WOLFSKIN ENSEMBLE — Early works
Wolfskin Ensemble presents the release of a new cassette edition — a limited and intimate document of the ensemble’s sonic universe.
The release will be celebrated with a live concert at Cap30, where the ensemble will present new material alongside works connected to the cassette.
The cassette gathers a collection of sound collages and previously unreleased pieces created by the ensemble. Moving between composed fragments, textural explorations and unexpected sonic juxtapositions, the material reflects Wolfskin Ensemble’s collective approach to composition and performance.
This release exists exclusively as a cassette, produced in an edition of 50 copies. It will not be available on streaming platforms or online: a rare physical artifact and a unique listening experience.
Wolfskin Ensemble is a Copenhagen-based contemporary ensemble led by its seven members. The group functions as a democratic organism, focusing primarily on original scores written by the musicians themselves and developed collectively. Their work engages with a wide range of musical ideas — graphic, written, and conventionally notated — and their performances often move through contrasting atmospheres: from bizarre and absurd performative pieces to dark musical songs and minimalist conceptual directions.

Cap30 is Copenhagen's smallest and most intimate cultural venue. A non-profit space experimenting with music, art, performances, talks, and much more.
Doors open 30 minutes before the show and close when the concert starts. Entry after the doors are closed is not permitted.
The restroom is on the first floor, only accessible by stairs.
