Winter Spine Revive: Beginner Yoga for Spinal Health
Join us for a rejuvenating yoga session dedicated to your spine's health and well-being!
Our session will be led by a yogi medicine expert in collaboration with local chiropractors, providing you with comprehensive and expert care.
Whether you're recovering from a current injury, nurturing old ones, or simply eager to learn how to move your spine safely and effectively, this class is for you.
The event will be guided by Kylie Rook, a highly renowned and experienced yoga instructor.
A little about Kylie:
Kylie is a devoted teacher and perpetual student, driven by a profound passion for movement, neuroscience, breathwork, Traditional Chinese Medicine, meditation, somatics, and Hakomi Psychotherapy.
Holding a RYT 500 with Yoga Medicine, she became a Yoga Medicine® Therapeutic Specialist, contributing as a guest tutor on their online platform and a distinguished speaker at their Innovation Conferences. Certified as a Yoga Detourist, Functional Range Conditioning Specialist®, Pilates instructor, and holder of a Bachelor of Nursing and a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts, Kylie's diverse background enriches her holistic approach.
Currently immersed in the study of Hakomi Somatic Psychotherapy, Kylie seamlessly integrates this modality with yoga and mindfulness, particularly in her one-to-one yoga therapy sessions. Recognized for her distinctive teaching style, Kylie merges Western perspectives on the body with traditional yoga, creating a transformative experience for her students.
With an innate talent for individualized instruction, Kylie addresses musculoskeletal, mental health, neurological, and chronic conditions. Her teaching environment empowers students, fostering awareness, agency, and ease in their lives.
Kylie leads YACEP mentoring programs, guiding teachers to discover their authentic voice, develop specializations, and deepen their understanding of biomechanics, philosophy, and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Running an online membership site with live-streamed classes and creating online courses, Kylie ensures her teachings reach a global audience, allowing individuals worldwide to train with her and experience the transformative power of her approach.
Our exciting gathering will take place at Ormiston Town Centre, in an open lot that is fully enclosed, private and overlit by fairy lights, providing a serene environment to unwind and stretch.
