Performances
Love for Love
by William Congreve, adapted by Matthew Iliffe with Ruby Kitchener and directed by James Hillier
Valentine is broke, lovesick, and out of options. His father wants him disinherited. His creditors want him arrested. And the woman he loves? She's not saying a word.
So, he does the only reasonable thing: he pretends to go mad.
William Congreve's razor-sharp comedy of desire, deception and spectacularly bad decisions gets a fresh outing in Matthew Iliffe's new adaptation. Beneath the wit and the wordplay, a father and son are at war, and a woman holds all the cards.
Sharp and raucous, Love for Love asks how far you'd go to prove you mean it and whether anyone in this world is quite what they seem.
Adapted from William Congreve's 1695 comedy and developed with BA Acting and Performance students at Wimbledon College of Arts.

Four worlds. One feed. All of it happening at once.

From the burning present to a future we're already building, Steven Kavuma's play asks what it means to function, to love, to speak or to stay very, very quiet when the world is on fire and your thumbs keep scrolling.
Developed with BA Acting and Performance students at Wimbledon College of Arts and performed here for the very first time.
