Do you have what it takes to become a Wildwood Days Warrior?
Supported by a qualified PT, we are excited to host our first, fun-filled, forest, fitness challenge event!
We invite parent and older child (age 8+) teams to take on a series of physical challenges in the great outdoors! Connect with nature, breathe in the fresh air, try new things, have a giggle, spend quality time together – all while improving your fitness!
Join us on site for a welcome and briefing before setting off on a challenge filled warm up. Armed with a map and score card, you will follow the route, impress us with your endurance skills, and make your way to the hill sprint challenge!
Once back on site you can enjoy refreshments (drinks and fresh fruit), before tackling a variety of challenges to test your target skills, strength, agility and balance in our woodland setting. Taking inspiration from our favourite fitness global events, we have put our very own Wildwood Days forest twist on some classic events! Everything from tyre flips to slack line balancing to get your heart rate up and test your skills!

Each parent/child team will keep a record of their own times and achievements, and we’d love to see you back the following year to see if you can improve on your scores! Challenges vary depending on age and ability, and adaptations will be made if needed. Staff and helpful signs will support proper technique at challenge stations, and additional refreshments will be available throughout should you require them.
We will end with a medal ceremony to celebrate your achievements.
Obviously this is an outdoor woodland event so appropriate clothing and footwear is essential.
In order to ensure everyone has a wonderful time and stays injury free, it is vital that you complete the Par-Q-Form prior to taking part. This will be emailed to you upon booking, and needs to be returned for review prior to the event. If you do not receive the email with Par-Q-Form and directions, please check your spam folder and then get in touch.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the event and physical challenges involved, we cannot allow younger children to attend or multiple siblings. Each participant under 16 needs an adult partner. We have many other events aimed at younger children, and wanted to give older children a chance to be active outdoors too.
