Wild Discovery Summer Camp - Your Backyard

Looking for a fun and engaging way to keep your 8–12-year-olds learning this summer? Join History Cherokee for Wild Discovery Summer Camp, happening June 8-12, 2026, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. each day! Each day campers will explore a different history theme through STEAM-based activities that connect to the fascinating exhibits at the Cherokee County History Center. This week's daily themes are Transportation, River Science, Geology, Your Backyard, and Toys & Games. $30 per day or $120 for the whole week.
Today's theme is Your Backyard. We'll be joined by our friends at the Chattahoochee Nature to learn about the wildlife we can find in our own backyards. (No live animals will be visiting for this program.)
