Looking for a fun and engaging way to keep your 8–12-year-olds learning this summer? Join History Cherokee for Wild Discovery Summer Camp, happening June 8-12, 2026, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. each day! Each day campers will explore a different history theme through STEAM-based activities that connect to the fascinating exhibits at the Cherokee County History Center. This week's daily themes are Transportation, River Science, Geology, Your Backyard, and Toys & Games. $30 per day or $120 for the whole week.Today's theme is Geology. We'll learn about rocks and minerals found right here in Cherokee and North Georgia.
