About this Event
You may be familiar with the sights and sounds of the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail — scooters zipping past, delicious food & drinks, and friends bopping around. But beyond the busy path lies a thriving green space filled with native plants and trees, wildlife habitat, and thoughtfully designed landscapes.
Join Ground Up Collective for a Wild & Native Plant Walk & Talk to discover the hidden ecology of Atlanta's Eastside BeltLine.
With an experienced outdoor educator as your guide, we’ll identify trees, wild herbs, and native plants while learning how urban green spaces support biodiversity in the heart of the city.
Ground Up Collective is an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization that cultivates garden spaces and hands-on learning experiences, classes, and workshops that nourish minds, bodies, and local ecosystems. Our mission is to make gardening and healthy eating simple, joyful, and accessible for children and adults in the Atlanta area. Learn more at groundupcollective.org.
