WiBA invites you to join us for a special evening of dance at Elmhurst Ballet School, associate school of Birmingham Royal Ballet based in Edgbaston, Birmingham. The evening will start with an exclusive VIP drinks and canapés reception at 6pm, with curtains up in Elmhurst’s fabulous theatre at 7pm.
This exclusive performance is for VIP guests only and showcases the work of Elmhurst’s talented and aspiring young dancers aged 11-19, some of whom will be performing at Elmhurst for the final time before joining prestigious ballet companies all over the world. A variety of classic repertoire and brand new choreography, the show includes performances in ballet, contemporary and jazz.
Having celebrated its 100th birthday in 2023 and the 20 year anniversary of its move from Surrey to Birmingham in 2024, Elmhurst’s philosophy is that talent is classless. Thanks to Government scholarships and the generosity of donors and supporters, the school ensures that talented young people from all backgrounds are able to access its world class dance training and education with over 80% of its students receiving financial assistance towards fees.
We are delighted to offer this exciting event at £24.50 for members and £29 for guests. This includes complimentary drinks and canapés at the pre-show reception. Places are limited for this event so early booking is recommended. Please note that although there is no official dress code for this event, in previous years, attendees have tended to dress smartly (not black tie!).
