About this Event
Discover Where the Internet Lives!
Join ThreadPoint Foundation CIC for a creative, family-friendly workshop that brings the digital world to life.
Through storytelling and LEGO® building, children aged 5–11 (and their parent or carer) will:
- Learn where the internet actually lives — inside data centres
- Understand how everyday digital platforms work
- Explore digital safety, privacy, and confident online habits
- Build their own “cloud” creations and see how invisible systems connect
Every child receives a free copy of Where the Internet Goes to Sleep to take home — extending learning beyond the session.
The workshop is:
- Family-friendly and inclusive
- Designed for state-school and neurodivergent children
- Delivered by ThreadPoint Foundation, an infrastructure education provider making complex systems simple, safe, and inspiring
Sponsored by Origin Housing.
