When Worry Shows Up at the Table: A Workshop For Families
Join Well Fed Feeding Therapy and Sandbox Therapy for a 4-week, in-person series designed for families who are tired of power struggles, “just one more bite” battles, and worrying if their child is eating enough or the “right” foods. Across four weeks, you and your child will work side-by-side with a pediatric feeding specialist and a childhood anxiety specialist to learn real-life tools to manage big feelings, explore new foods at your child’s pace, and build calmer, more confident mealtimes together. This series is perfect for parents and kids who want to feel less panicked and more flexible with eating, and who are ready for support that understands both feeding and anxiety, not just one or the other.
Workshop Dates: March 5, 12, 19, 26
Week 1: Redefine child + caregiver roles so you’re not the Food Police and your kid isn’t the Defendant at every meal.
Week 2: Learn regulation and de-escalation tools for you and your child so you can be the calm co-regulator, not the stressed-out referee.
Week 3: Learn how to coach curiosity instead of compliance so your child feels safe, not scrutinized.
Week 4: Leave with a calmer inner narrative, practical next steps, and the confidence that you can create peaceful mealtimes without becoming a short-order cook or drill sergeant.
